Rocky Point Permit Camp
per person
Rocky Point Permit Camp is a boutique fly‑fishing lodge rising on the north‑north tip of Ambergris Caye, where a rare barrier reef meets the shoreline. Designed for anglers who love to wade, the camp provides direct access to untouched flats rich with permit, bonefish, tarpon, and triggerfish. Its proximity to the Bacalar Chico National Park offers access to both reef-side and lagoon fisheries that most resorts cannot match.
This self-guided camp includes beachfront cabanas and rustic gathering spaces powered by a hybrid solar-hydro system, designed for comfort without compromising the wild, off-grid atmosphere. Anglers walk out at first light to cast directly from camp, with optional golf carts or paddlecraft to reach remote waters. Guided days are also available for those who prefer local expertise .
The lodge opened to its first guests in late 2024. Each week-long stay runs on a set schedule, including transfers from San Pedro on Tuesday and back on Saturday. The all-inclusive rate covers lodging, meals, transfers, and use of camp gear, creating an immersive experience that feels both wild and thoughtfully curated
