Caye Caulker
Caye Caulker is Belize’s second largest inhabited island. It is a small fishing village turned tourism hub which sits just a mile west of the Barrier Reef. The motto on the island is “go slow” and you get around on foot, bicycle or golf-cart. It’s a laidback community where tradition and village life are mixed in with the great outdoors and increasingly modern amenities. At the heart of Caye Caulker is a community that loves to celebrate its roots with special events such as Lobster Fest and Easter festivities.
