per person
The End of the World Marathon & Half Marathon is a signature annual sports tourism event and registered non-profit organization based on the Placencia Peninsula. Commemorating its inception during the historic 2012 Mayan calendar milestone, the race attracts hundreds of international and local athletes each December. The paved 26.2-mile and 13.1-mile courses guide runners past striking views of the Caribbean Sea through Placencia Village, Seine Bight, and Maya Beach. In close partnership with the Placencia Rotary Club, the event has successfully funded hundreds of high school, vocational, and university scholarship years for local youth, making it a critical driver of regional community development
