Since BTIA acts as the voice of the tourism industry, decisions made, issues lobbied, legislature introduced, and organizations formed by BTIA affect all businesses and persons involved in tourism and related fields and as such must reflect the collective interest of those people; it is imperative, then, that those in the industry become actively involved in the Association.

Since the very beginning, BTIA has made many outstanding contributions to the tourism industry. In fact, BTIA has shaped and defined the role of tourism in the country of Belize. But there is still more to be accomplished and we need each other.
