Monday, January 17, 2011 --  BTIA Hopkins Chapter held a meeting at Hamanasi Resort on Saturday, January 15.  Mr. Rob Pronk was elected as the new Chairman.  Other board members include Russel Nunez, Eugene Baptist, Ingrid Stahl, Reva Dark, Audry McCaulagh and Jean Barkman.  Several Hopkins hotels and business representatives were in attendance at the meeting, as well as BTIA National President, Jim Scott.

Destination Belize was also in Hopkins on Saturday (represented by Demian and Nicole Solano) to meet with members.  Idea Lab Studios was invited to present the details of the new Destination Belize 2012.  Discussions focused on the Integrated Marketing approach, to include not only the printed publication, but also the web portal at www.destinationbelize.com, the iPad app, the CD Rom, Video and Database Marketing.  The new online media kit details pricing, as well as Editorial Sections.

Jim Scott reiterated BTIA's support for the project and spoke of his enthusiasm for the new innovative marketing opportunities, particularly the technology that will enable additional reach, a more targeted approach, and comprehensive analytics.  He also reminded members of his personal commitment to BTIA, as well as that of the recently elected national board.
