Since BTIA acts as the voice of the tourism industry, decisions made, issues lobbied, legislature introduced, and organizations formed by BTIA affect all businesses and persons involved in tourism and related fields.  As such, these decisions must reflect the collective interest of industry stakeholders.  For this reason, we encourage all those involved in the tourism industry's private sector to become members and remain actively involved in BTIA.

Since the very beginning, BTIA has made many outstanding contributions to the tourism industry. In fact, BTIA has played a major role in shaping and defining the role of tourism in the country of Belize. But there is still more to be accomplished and we need each other.
