BTIA recognized sponsors at our annual Sponsor’s Cocktail
BTIA’s operations as a non-profit NGO are largely supported by committed sponsors – some of whom have supported us financially and with in-kind contributions for years if not decades.
Every year on the night before BTIA’s annual general meeting it is time to say thank you to our sponsors, so show what BTIA has set out to achieve in the past year and what we are planning to achieve in the coming 12 months.
On 30 November 2011 BTIA cordially invited out sponsors and members to the Radisson Fort Georga Hotel & Marina in Belize City for our annual sponsor’s cocktail.
After protocol had been established by Executive Director Efren Perez and President James Scott, video presentations by our major sponsors were shown before the sponsors were individually awarded tokens of appreciation. The relaxing and informative evening was held poolside with Cuellos, Bowen&Bowen and Karl H.Menzies donating drinks and cocktails and the Radisson donating a flying buffet.
With mayan decoration and entertainment including a 3-piece Marimba combo, the sponsor’s cocktail was BTIA’s opening of 2012 – the year of the Mayan.
We would like to thank all our sponsors for their continued support of the BTIA.
Atlantic Bank has been a major sponsor of BTIA for many years, helping BTIA continuously financially as well as through providing expertise and experience.
Belize Telemedia Limited
BTL has been supporting BTIA for a long time with financial as well as in-kind contributions. BTL’s General Manager Dionne Miranda Chamberlain is a member of BTIA’s Board of Directors in the function of Immediate Past President.
When BTIA staff travel within Belize for meetings, you will often times find them on a Tropic Air flight. Tropic has been a supporter of the BTIA for many years and continues to keep Belize’s biggest tourism industry association mobile and flexible.
Radisson Fort George Hotel & Marina
The Radisson, iconic hotel in Belize City’s Fort George District, continuously supports BTIA. Most BTIA meetings that can not be held at the BTIA office one block away from the Radisson are held at the Radisson. Location and food for the sponsor’s cocktail were also donated to BTIA by the Radisson.
IdeaLabs and BTIA have been a well working team for years lately sharing the success story of bringing Destination Belize back to Belize and publishing it ‘at home’. Throughout the year, there are countless situations in which IdeaLabs supports BTIA, provides time and services in form of a donation.
